“Playing on the dock” is relished by both the handler and their dog. However, if the dog starts to demonstrate diminished performance, many handlers feel there may be a disconnect with the dog or the dog is losing interest in the sport.
Suzanne Diefenbach and her husband, Alfonso, have competed with NADD since 2014 when they only had one Belgian Malinois between them. They started training together at
Hunter Canine
in Cave Creek, Ariz., where they jumped their first event and were ultimately hooked on the sport.
Once dubbed the “Taj MaDock of NADD” by the organization’s operations manager, K9 Coastal Sports offers many fantastic services out of its Aransas Pass, Texas, facility. Just four miles off the Gulf of Mexico, K9 Coastal is the farthest south NADD facility in Texas and centrally located to plenty of beaches and dog-friendly restaurants.

The 2023 Regional and National season will celebrate the theme of Mardi Gras! Mardi Gras is enjoyed by friends and families of all ages. It is a popular celebration all over the world, but particularly in the South, where you will find
parades and themed parties for adults, children, and animals! These parades and parties are usually hosted by a “krewe”.
What is a krewe? A krewe is any group or organization of friends who would like to band together to host a Mardi Gras ball, ride on a Mardi Gras parade float, and participate in social events throughout the year.
What does this have to do with NADD Regionals and Nationals?
For us a krewe is any group or organization of friends who would like to band together to take part in NADD dock diving events in their region. Each regional mobile dock operator has picked a logo to represent their region, this will be
their regional krewe.

We hope you will have fun with this and create your own small krewes within your region, whether it be a facility or team. Get creative…Decorate yourself…Decorate your dogs…Decorate your crates! Please post photos of your Krewe logo on
